With PADI, the materials cost the instructor more, which is then passed on to you. With PADI you can purchase the materials directly from PADI, but that does not result in cost savings.

For Us: SSI's structure reduces operating costs — no license fees for every course we teach, no hard-copy inventory to manage. That means we can offer better value without cutting corners. While PADI shops or instructors may offer materials, these are the same materials that you can purchase directly from PADI.
