Is there availability for the dates I want to dive?
If the activity can be booked online with the dates given, we have availability.
Do you offer free transportation?
We offer free shuttles from Grand Anse Beach if sea conditions do not allow to board the boat there.
Do you offer transfers from the cruise ship terminal?
Unfortunately our schedule does not allow us to service individual cruise ship arrivals. The only option that we can offer is a private boat charter, depending on availability. Private dive / snorkel charters include transfers from and to the cruise dock. Private charters can be booked on our website: http://www.aquanautsgrenada.com/en/privatecharter
Where are you located?
We have two shops, our headquarters at True Blue Bay Resort and our shop at the Spice Isle Beach Resort on Grand Anse Beach
How long does it take to the dive sites?
Between 5 and 20 minutes from either of our dive centers, depend which dive site we approach.
Why dive nitrox?
Nitrox diving is very easy, certification can be obtained in just a couple of hours. Nitrox increases your bottom time on deeper dives and safety when you do multiple dives. Nitrox Divers don't feel so tired in the evenings and some feel that they use less air.
Is there shore diving on Grenada?
Most of the reefs and wrecks are off shore and not within reach from shore. Some smaller reefs off Grand Anse are accessible from our dive center and we use these mostly for our Fluo Night dive.
What size are your dive groups on the boat?
We dive in small groups (appr. 6-8 divers per dive guide) from large comfortable boats - we make sure you see more fish than divers!
What is the water temperature?
Winter minimum 78 F / 25 C, in Summer up to 86 F / 30 C.
How is the visibility?
Varies with currents between 20 - 70 meters / 60 - 200 feet.
Where is the nearest recompression chamber?
There is one located 10 min from the dive center and there is one in Barbados and Trinidad, ca. 20 minutes flight.
When is the rainy season?
From June until November, heavier rains are possible in June and November, the remaining time is very pleasant with a cooling shower every now and then.
What can kids do while we are diving?
Depends on their age, most hotels do have babysitters available, we also have a kids program starting with the bubblemaker at the age of 8.
Can we dive with Aquanauts if we stay elsewhere?
Yes you can, we provide free transfers from most accommodations on Grand Anse, for a complete list check our resort page.
What happens with all the data I provide to aquanauts?
Our privacy policy statement is as follows: This is the web site of Aquanauts Grenada Ltd. at www.aquanautsgrenada.com. The information we collect is only used by Aquanauts Grenada and its affiliated agent Grenada Dive Resorts.com LLC to improve the content of our website, notify consumers about updates to our site, special promotions available to our valued customers and to distribute our electronic newsletter and printed collaterals. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please notify us by sending an e-mail to the above address and typing the word "REMOVE" in the subject line. Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers online may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding their inquiry or their booking status. Please provide us with your correct phone number. Aquanauts Grenada Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy. Any information that is given throughout the enquiry and/or reservation process is kept strictly confidential. We do not sell or distribute any names or personal information from our customers to third parties without prior written consent.
Payment Getway information
Please be advised that your charge to Aquanauts may appear as a charge to Trekksoft, which runs our booking engine.
What is your cancellation policy
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY The booking / reservation fee is non-refundable. Upfront paid services for Diving; Snorkeling and Dive Course bookings:   If cancelled 48 hours prior to trip departure / course start, a refund will be issued and a 10% cancellation processing fee will be charged. No refunds are given for cancellations within 48 hours of trip departure / scheduled course start or for no shows.  Accommodation Packages: if the reservation is cancelled within 7 days of arrival, 3 nights payment will be forfeited, regardless of the reav  son for cancellation. No shows, delayed arrivals or early check-out will not be refunded; regardless of the reason. Unused portions of hotel and/or package plans are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.  We recommend travel insurance.
Hurricane Policy
If a named storm makes landfall on the shores of Grenada and your travels are cancelled, you are eligable to a full refund.
